This project was a gift for someone who is car lover and has a sports car of their own. I wanted to present them with a printed magazine to showcase their cars history, specs, popularity, and specific modifications they have done.
Ideation
I wanted this car to pop on the page, due to its bright color. I used the colors from the GR86 logo, deep red and black, as well as the cars bright blue. I also wanted to include several textures, like tire tracks, carbon fiber and road gravel. Having the car push into the text and having the text wrap the car, gave it an extra level of movement, highlighting the main car topic.
